BIOS Settings
In the BIOS of modern mainboards there are some hardware control functions integrated, for example fan-speed.
When switching on the PC you may get error messages that do not make any sense, if you do not switch of these functions. Like for instance "CPU fan failed". After a BIOS reset or an upgrade of the BIOS these messages may re-apear.
You can easily correct these settings in the BIOS setup menu.
The recommended setting for various mainboards are available in this list.
