The Silentium!-PC with the new "Core 2 Duo" processors
Because of the extreme high power consumption and the increasing heat emission Intel decided to supersede the
the “NetBurst” (Pentium4) micro-architecture with the new "Core" micro-architecture, also known as code name "Conroe"
for desktop systems.
With this new design, called “Core”, Intel is aiming at better performance-per-watt,
higher energy efficiency and optimized multi-processing.

PZT Acoustic Laboratory checks Silentium! out
Acoustics Laboratory PZT GmbH from Wilhelmshaven certifies the Silentium!-PC an extreme low noise
developement of 0,062 SONE under full load and 0,054 SONE when idling.
Measurement of these marginal noise levels yet borders detection limits of measuring instruments.
Conclusion: Silentium-PCs are barely audible even under full load.

AMD Athlon 64 now fanless!
Deltatronic PCs can now be supplied with AMD Athlon 64 processors.
This new processors offer better mechanical and thermal properties like heatspreader, support of idle-processes
and overheat protection. With considerably smaller thermal dissipation losses this processors are perfectly suited for
fitting into the Deltatronic PCs.
The first model with clock frequency of 2 GHz and a quantispeed-rating
of 3200+ can be compared to the fastest Intel-processors.

More powerful heatpipes für CPU und GPU
Now a 11 mm high performance heatpipe with a transmittion capacity of more than 120 Watt and an extremely
low temperature difference is used.
We also provide the graphics processors with more powerful heatpipes able to remove up to 80 Watt.
Intel CPUs have got a maximum heat output of 82 Watt, graphical processors like GeforceFX and ATI Radeon 9800,
which require a lot of power, a capacity of approx. 50 Watt.

Graphics cards
Radeon 9800 Pro is now avaiable.
After intensive tests we have improved our range to include this strongest graphics card currently on the market.
The cooling capacity of our heatpipe proved of great benefit for the Radeon 9800 Pro:
which maintained absolutely stable operations within uncritical temperature ranges.

New fanless Power Supply unit with 420 watt
With 420 Watt the Deltatronic power-supply unit SPS420A is the strongest fanless PC power supply unit. This gives the
opportunity for PC systems with demanding high-performance components such as graphics cards to be configured.
All new PCs and kits will be delivered with this new, high-capacity power-supply-unit.

The new mainboards have arrived!
Deltatronic PCs can now be supplied with the new INTEL chips "Springdale" and "Canterwood".
This provides 800 MHz frontside-bus clock frequency and dual channel RAM. This architecture will set new standards in memory
transfer.
Deltatronic PCs are also available with P4P800 mainboards of ASUS with i865PE (Springdale)
as well as the D875PBZ of INTEL with i875P (Canterwood).

Hard disks
Now in our program:
Samsung SpinPoint with 7.200 rpm and with memory capacities of 80, 120 and 160 gigabyte.
Samsung now holds top position within the line of quiet hard disks suppliers.
Samsung, manufacturer of the quietest hard disks, continues their successful series with the
liquid-beared SpinPoint.
Our tests show that the new Samsung SpinPoint meets comfortably quiet noise levels at
unobtrusive aerial frequency spectrums, even with major load and speed.

...can now be delivered as single component ex warehouse.
It will supplement for water- or heat-pipe-cooling-system, and will ban the fans from your system.

Processors
Deltatronic PCs are now deliverable with processors of up to Pentium4 3,20 GHz. The new heatpipe-design and the high
cooling performance of the heatpipes allow the heat generated by 3,20 GHz processor to be removed quickly. The most
powerful processor currrently available can be cooled without a fan!

CPU-heatpipe
As already announced, the heatpipe design was revised. The heatpipe no longer runs over the RAM module but now
leads over the CPU towards the cooling side panel. This results in several improvements:
- The maximum possible heatpipe heat transportation increases as a decline between outbound and inbound
point heatpipe functioning improves.
- The heat transportation distance becomes smaller.
- Inbound and outbound area has been enlarged.
- Advanced heatpipe design guarantees higher transfer performance.
These improvements lead to large reductios in temperature throughout the cooling system
and a higher maximum heat transportation rate. The use of the whole Pentium4-range as well as future processors
with even higher clock frequency will be ensured.

Hard disk cage
Every Silentium! -PC is equipped with a special hard disk cage, which allows the fitting of two
hard disks in a noise-absorbing insulation casing-body.
Positioning in the lower part of the PC body provides optimal cooling for the hard disks.
